More than 1,000 Treviso supporters were not put off by the rain as many new players who will wear the white and green played their part in the event.
After screening a video showcasing the story and philosophy of the club, president Amerino Zatta, head coach Umberto Casellato and Mayor of Treviso Giovanni Manildo shared the microphone.
Casellato called on the fans to fill the Monigo Stadium this season and help Treviso's home ground become a fortress in the GUINNESS PRO12.
And he was able to present a number of new faces at the club, with captain Antonio Pavanello, Alessandro Zanni, James Ambrosini and Luca Morisi also in attendance.
The event officially opened Treviso's GUINNESS PRO12 season as they seek to improve on last season's 11th place finish and continue to grow Italian club rugby.
