The 23-year-old has been hampered by setbacks, especially last season when he started just nine PRO12 games.
But this term he's already started two and despite sitting out Friday's clash with Zebre, he is confident of a more rewarding campaign this time around.
"Going into last season, I felt I was really going to try and have a big year and play in those big games. But it didn't work out with injuries," Conway told the Irish Examiner.
"Luckily I got a bit of form towards the back-end of the season, played in the bigger games and I'm just hoping to continue that into this season.
"I've got two games under my belt, so I'm feeling like I'm back into it fully."
