Zebo scored a first-half hat-trick to help correct Munster's unwanted record of not having won in front of their home crowd since March, following a 14-13 opening-day loss at Thomond Park to Edinburgh.
The British & Irish Lions wing's commanding performance saw the hosts build a 17-0 lead at half time before tries from Andrew Smith and David Kilcoyne helped Munster to a 31-5 victory, despite Samuela Vunisa's late score.
Head coach Foley was thankful for Zebo's predatory instincts but insisted the whole of his back line deserve credit for an attacking display that allowed the winger to shine.
And the 40-year-old former Irish international believes his side have plenty of work left to do if they are to challenge their rivals for this season's title.
"He [Zebo] is brilliant, he'll sniff out anything for you," said Foley.
"He was at the end of some very good work by others.
"Ronan [O'Mahony] caught one and put him away, Andrew [Smith] made a lovely outside break and put him away.
"He's got a knack for scoring so it was great to see him getting over the line.
"However, we've more to do and to work on and ball control is one of those things to look at."
