With two home defeats in their opening four GUINNESS PRO12 fixtures, the Munstermen will readily admit they are yet to hit their straps this season.
As for Leinster, two home victories have been coupled with as many away defeats - at Glasgow Warriors and Connacht respectively - to leave them fifth at this stage.
Saturday has the potential to make or break these sides' early season adventures, in front of a 40,000-strong crowd at the headquarters of Irish rugby.
And Ireland scrum-half Murray knows a half-cooked Munster will have little hope of leaving the Aviva Stadium with maximum points.
"It is probably the perfect game to sort things and get things right," he said.
"It is a huge challenge, to go up there is a huge ask but I have full faith in the squad. It is just the little things that we are not clicking with and consistently doing wrong which we need to rectify.
"We're getting in scoring positions, we're just not converting them. I'd be more worried if we weren't able to get in there in the first place, so at least that is there."
Elsewhere the competition's early pace-setters each face a trip to Italy - Ospreys take on Zebre, while Glasgow Warriors visit Benetton Treviso.
Each have four wins from four so far this season but Zebre were the last team to beat Ospreys in the competition and they come into the clash off the back of a 13-6 victory over Ulster.
And with a new Italian broadcaster - Nuvolari - on board, Zebre and Treviso fans unable to get to the games will be able to follow all the action.
There is a Welsh derby at Parc y Scarlets on Sunday, with Newport Gwent Dragons the visitors - they head to Llanelli in high spirits after collecting a maiden win of the GUINNESS PRO12 season last time out.
Ulster kick off a run of three league games at the Kingspan Stadium, with Edinburgh the visitors on Friday, as they seek to bounce back from defeat in Parma.
And, also on Friday evening, Connacht host Cardiff Blues a week after their winning start to the season came to an end at the hands of Glasgow.
