Next up for Welsh side is the visit of Anthony Foley's Munster and, after seeing his side dispatch of Grenoble and then Rugby Rovigo Delta, Hammett has renewed confidence.
"We are not going to get carried away by the Rovigo result, but this is a confidence booster and we have to use that," he said.
"We have got a massive game now back at home against Munster before the Anglo-Welsh Cup kicks-off.
"It's a big end to the first round of league fixtures before we start the Anglo-Welsh Cup. It does culminate for us and we will see where we are collectively as a group.
"We will sit down a look at see where we at in terms of selection.
"We are looking ok in terms of injuries, but that is always touch wood and cross fingers.
"The boys are well focused on their recovery routines and getting back out there for the Munster game."
