Best mate at the club?
There are a great bunch of lads here but I'd have to say John Andress or Dougie Fife. I've been here quite a while now but there's still a good crew of us left from when I joined.
Last to buy dinner?
Tim Visser is pretty bad but Stuart McInally is the tightest man I have ever met. He always 'forgets' his wallet and we've had to foot the bill for him plenty of times.
Biggest lifter in the gym?
Ross Ford is an absolute mutant and has apparently been the same size since he was 16. Often on a Monday he won't train but will bench about 250 pounds.
Worst dressed?
There are quite a few candidates - we're not the most stylish dressing room. Tim Visser has a very Dutch style so will often be wearing bright orange shoes. Ollie Atkins has an awful sense of style, while Tom Brown has this black jumper he wears six times a week. Then James Hilterbrand has this weird cross between a cardigan and a hoodie he likes to wear everywhere.
The dressing-room DJ?
Dougie Fife and Sean Kennedy are officially in charge of the dressing-room tunes because they're very up to date with their music taste. Sharing a room with Dougie is a nightmare though because he's always got the tunes on. Sometimes Alasdair Dickinson tries to play music from when he was young in the 60s but he gets shouted down.
The quickest?
It's between Dougie Fife and Tim Visser - which is handy because you need your quickest guys on the wing. I'd say Dougie probably shades it now because Tim is a bit older and has packed on a few pounds.
Late for training?
We have a system where if you miss or are late for a session you have to pay a £50 fine. Despite only joining this summer, John Andress has already racked up £300 worth of fines so he's keeping the social committee alive.
Teacher's pet?
That's definitely Andries Strauss - he loves that role and he has to embrace it.
Best cook?
Jack Cuthbert is a very alternative guy and runs a food stall called Flatjacks at the market so he's pretty handy in the kitchen.
First on the dancefloor?
Sean Kennedy is the most likely and he also the best dancer. He's got a good rhythm, which is something I can't say for myself.
Most likely to disgrace themselves at the Christmas party?
He's copping a lot of flak here but John Andress is a loose cannon when he's away from the wife and kids and likes a good night out.
The most embarrassing tattoo?
There are plenty of contenders but the worst one has to be Sean Kennedy - he's got 'Zante 08' tattooed on his behind. Michael Tait oddly has his surname across the inside of his forearm.
Never puts their phone down?
Matt Scott - you can't get a word out of him when he's on his phone, especially in the lunch hall. He's quite a nosy guy so wants to know what everyone is up to. I also live with him so have to deal with it all the time.
Going to make the best coach?
I can see Grant Gilchrist becoming a lineout coach in his old age. He absolutely loves lineouts, so much so that he talks about them in his sleep. Victor Matfield is his idol and he's already picked out the same arm guard to wear when he comes back from his injury.
