The 26-year-old winger was one of ten Warriors in the starting XV as Scotland narrowly lost 24-16 to New Zealand at BT Murrayfield on Saturday.
The prevalence of Gregor Townsend's men in the international set-up reflects Glasgow's impressive start to the GUINNESS PRO12 season, inspired in part by Seymour's three tries in five appearances.
The Warriors flyer has carried his club form into the international arena with aplomb, bursting out of the line to score interception tries in both the victory over Argentina and defeat to the All Blacks.
And although Seymour admits there were plenty of positives in their loss to the world champions, he is confident Scotland will become a threat only if they refuse to settle for less.
"We have got to stop being a side that allows itself to take positives when you lose to the best team in the world, because if you do that you start drawing lines that you can't cross," he said.
"We can't keep saying we are pleased with 'this much', because if you come up against a side and your only aim is to come up close, then it will never be good enough.
"We have to go out to win games and in a backwards kind of way it is pleasing to be disappointed after Saturday's result, because if it is a 30-point runaway, your disappointment only has one shade of grey.
"But the reason why we are disappointed after Saturday is because we were in a position to do more.
"It was an opportunity for us to make history and an opportunity that doesn't come along very often."
