Hogg signed on the dotted line, along with club-mate Lee Jones, to remain at Scotstoun until at least May 2017.
The full-back, who has won 27 caps for Scotland, has scored 101 points in 58 appearances for Glasgow and grabbed himself two league tries this season to help the Warriors to fourth place in the GUINNESS PRO12 table.
And despite his impressive career to date, the 22-year-old is confident that the best is yet to come.
"Over the past few seasons we've been going well and I've enjoyed every minute of it. There is a great group of people around the club and I've settled really well in Glasgow," he said.
"The Warriors has been a big part of my life over the last five years and I've seen the club grow during that time.
"I want to be the best rugby player I possibly can be and I believe at Glasgow I've got the right coaches and players around me to help me along the way."
