Edinburgh went down 18-10 at Stadio XXV Aprile last Saturday as the Italian side recorded just their second league win of the season.
Attention now turns to Europe for Alan Solomons' men as they face a double-header with English side London Welsh before a return to GUINNESS PRO12 action against bottom-of-the-table Benetton Treviso.
But Hart, who has won three caps for Scotland, claims Edinburgh are following the old adage of taking things one game at a time and are keen to put the lessons learned from the Zebre game, into practice.
"We were very disappointed not to get the result against Zebre but there were plenty of positives for us to take out of the game in terms of the way we played," Hart told the club's official website.
"Obviously for 70 minutes of the game we displayed a dominant performance but it was tough conditions out there for the guys.
"We have looked at some of the aspects that we need to work on but there are definitely lots of positives.
"Every game we approach is a brand new game, so once the review has been done, we're focused on the next team.
"Every game we go on to, the past week doesn't matter and the following week doesn't matter - it's only that one game that matters.
"That is our mindset - to get the result against London Welsh."
