Zebre stars encourage supporters to donate blood

"Many donors, but never enough: We invite everyone to donate." Those are the words of Andrea Lovotti , Giovanbattista Venditti, Tommaso D'Apice and Luciano Leibson who are encouraging all the club's supporters to become blood donors.

The goal remains the same - to score tries for the team but also to achieve results as citizens of the community.

Zebre players will also spread the word of blood donation not only in the Parma area but internationally by taking part into two great European competitions - the Challenge Cup and GUINNESS PRO12.

"IO DONO E TU?" (I gift, and you?) is the title of the campaign which will invade the city and the province with leaflets and posters and which enjoys the official support of the local and provincial council.

The image of some Zebre Rugby players will accompany the citizens of Parma in the streets, schools and sports centres to remind everyone that with a simple gesture everyone can do great things.

Donors are numerous and growing, but not enough. Leukaemia, Thalassemia, liver transplants and all blood disorders in general are in constant need of new donors.

Who better than an athlete can spread that message? Thanks to all the groups and organizations which support the campaign.
