Something will have to give between the two rivals - Ospreys have gone unbeaten in their last 17 Welsh derbies,
but the Parc y Scarlets faithful have only witnessed their side lose once at home in their last 15 games.
As far as the GUINNESS PRO12 goes however, there is a chasm between the teams as Ospreys entered 2015 top of the table.
Scarlets are currently languishing in eighth but after running the PRO12 leaders agonisingly close in Swansea last week, Barclay is confident their hard work will pay off this time around.
"We didn't lose here in 2014 in the PRO12, it would be nice to extend the run," the Scottish international told WalesOnline.
"We have had some big teams down here as well, Leicester, Racing Metro, Ulster.
"Teams are obviously aware of that now, but Ospreys won't give that a lot of respect as any team wouldn't. They will want to come down here and try and knock us off.
"It will be great to have a big crowd. The more we win, the more people will come down. It will feed itself.
"I don't know when was the last time we beat the Ospreys, but certainly it has been a while. From a regional and a personal point of view, it will be fantastic to beat them."
