Despite an unbeaten record at Parc y Scarlets in the PRO12 throughout 2014 (calendar year) the Scarlets continue to look for their first win of the current season on the road and will be looking to kick their travel sickness to the curb in Glasgow.
A 22-10 victory over the Ospreys at Parc y Scarlets last weekend saw Scarlets retain their seventh position in the Guinness PRO12 table and keep the top four campaign alive.
Speaking earlier this week second row Jake Ball, who has recently announced a new National Dual Contract which sees him staying with the Scarlets, said: "To get the win was fantastic. There's been a brilliant mood here. Since I've been here we haven't beaten the Ospreys.
"We spoke during the week about out performing your opposite number and I think we achieved that."
Ball is only too aware of his team's record away from home and when asked what is the difference about winning at home and not winning away he said: "It's a mindset - getting it right away from home. It's a case of us getting ourselves amped up, it's for us to lose I think. We know if we beat Glasgow it sets up us for the season."
Scarlets are currently in 7th position in the Guinness PRO12 table and will take on second placed Glasgow. Ball went on to say: "The PRO12 is wide open, Connacht's win has opened that table up - a lot lies on this weekend and us getting that win.
"We're in a reasonable position, we've done well at home, it would be nice to get a few wins away from home. I think as soon as we get that win it will break the mold as well."
