The full-back headed off the pitch at half-time of last Sunday's clash with Newport Gwent Dragons having
clocked up 1,000 unbroken minutes for the season.
Another 40 would follow after the break as the Ospreys ran out winners to ensure they would top the table during the current month-long break from PRO12 action.
Evans has certainly contributed to the team this campaign, carrying for more than 1,250 metres and helping his side win numerous territorial battles.
And the 26-year-old summer arrival from Newport Gwent Dragons admits he has enjoyed hitting the ground running this season.
"Touch wood, I haven't had any injuries," Evans told the South Wales Evening Post.
"I just enjoy playing and long may the run continue. I'm a guy who needs lots of rugby, if you want to get the best out of me. Hopefully, I can carry on in the side and get better as a player.
"It's been one of the most enjoyable campaigns of my career. It's such a nice feeling to be at the top of the league, challenging for the play-offs, and it's been great to be playing in the top European competition and competing.
"Playing regularly has helped and so has being part of a settled side, because then you can get used to the boys around you.
"We've all gelled well and at the start of the season we were playing some top stuff.
"Hopefully, when the weather changes we can get back to the free-flowing rugby we were playing."
