In a proverbial 'game of two halves' Wasps led 42-17 before the GUINNESS PRO12 outfit came roaring back to win 45-42.
Macauley Cook, Lewis Jones, Miles Normandale, Lucas Amorosino and Seb Davies all crossed the whitewash as the Blues narrowed the deficit to just four points.
And after the clock ticked past 80 minutes, Normandale crashed his way over in the corner before Rhys Patchell nailed the conversion to complete the most remarkable of comebacks.
Cardiff will try to recreate that second-half display when they host Leicester Tigers next weekend, although Kyriacou admits they may be forced to make some personnel changes.
"Unfortunately we'll lose some of the young guns to the Welsh U20s squad for next week but we may have a few back from injury including Lou Reed," explained Kyriacou.
"We were lazy in the first half against Wasps as we were too slow getting to our feet and the boys were disappointed with themselves in the changing rooms at the interval.
"We showed how we could get in behind them in the second half and some of the young guys who came off the bench made a massive impact."
