The 24-year-old Canadian international returns to Scotstoun as part of the deal which saw him move to the English club on a permanent deal at the end of last year.
During negotiations, Warriors stipulated that Braid would rejoin them on a temporary basis at this time of the year to help deal with the loss of players to international call-ups.
And Braid admits that he is excited by the prospect of joining up with his former teammates once agin.
"I don't think they'd bring me back unless there was a good chance of playing so I'm really excited," he told Glasgow Warriors official website.
"It's good to see the boys again and get back into the mix.
"I still have all the Scottish plays in my head so I have to get into the defensive structures and the attacking structures that we have in Glasgow.
"I'm just hoping that I can be involved in the game at the weekend."
Braid, who can play at fly-half and centre, has appeared for both the Canadian XV and Sevens sides while he has three GUINNESS PRO12 appearances to his name from earlier in the season.
And with second-placed Warriors looking to keep the pressure on leaders Ospreys, head coach Gregor Townsend was pleased with the return of Braid.
"It's great to see Connor back with us, he's trained really well and he's available for selection this weekend," said Townsend.
