Beaten in their last GUINNESS PRO12 encounter at the Sportsground, Connacht made no mistake this time with a magnificent seven tries to keep their hopes of a top-four finish alive.
O'Halloran marked his first league start of the season with a try, while there were two for wing Matt Healy and South African centre Danie Poolman also touched down.
And 24-year-old O'Halloran told Galway Bay FM: "I'm delighted to be back in the team. It's been a tough season through injury, but it was a massive opportunity and the early tries helped me gain a bit of momentum.
"The way the backs gelled made it easy to get into the game and it was a great team performance.
"It's definitely something we've been working on. Maybe in the past we've been relying on the No.10 to pulls the strings all the time, so we've really had to stand up this year.
"It's something we've been working on through the backs, bossing the forwards around a little bit. It's really coming together now and looking good on the pitch, so hopefully we can keep that going."
