Zebre travel to Glasgow with two internationals and three permit players

The encounter against the Scots is repeated only three weeks after the first leg played in Parma that saw Kellock and his team mates grabbing a bonus point win. As for the Stadio Lanfranchi challenge the two teams will be without several players retained by their respective national teams in view of the last two rounds of the RBS Six Nations with Italy to host France on Sunday March 15 and Scotland to play for the Calcutta Cup at Twickenham the previous day. In between the 13 Italians capped by Italy head coach Brunel, two of them will be part of the first seasonal away in Scotland: flanker Mauro Bergamasco and lock Quintin Geldenhuys are fully recovered from the injury that has ousted him from the first three rounds of the Six Nations. Even the Scots will be without nine internationals rested by Scotland head coach Cotter who has released six other internationals ready to play tomorrow at the Scotstoun Stadium. Zebre Rugby, trailing Benetton Treviso by eight points in the race to the next Champions Cup, are looking for their first away win in the Pro12 tournament season against an opponent in full fight to secure a playoff spot for the fourth consecutive year under the management of former Scottish and British & Irish Lions player Gregor Townsend.

On the Italians team sheet there will be three permit players: Lazio Rugby 1927 flanker Riccioli will earn his first start after three subs caps during this year Six Nations window while on the bench will sit the other two permit players: Rugby Viadana 1970 lock Gerosa - in his first call in the Guinness PRO12 - and back rower Giammarioli, part of the main Italian National U20 Academy Ivan Francescato in his second call after his Zebre Rugby debut in EPCR Challenge Cup Pool 5 final game in Oyonnax last January. Center Garcia closes the team list with the 23 numbered jersey returning after the October shoulder injury which kept him away from rugby for the last 5 months.
