He also dotted down in the Round 17 victory over Munster and can count himself unlucky not to have earned Wales caps this season due to his fitness battles.
And with the race for the GUINNESS PRO12 top four set to go down to the wire - Ospreys are currently perched in fourth - the 22-year-old insists he's a better player than ever.
"I have come back and feel a lot fitter than I was," Baker told the South Wales Evening Post. "I've worked on certain things in my game and it seems to be improving.
"I base my game around ball-carrying, so I was happy with the result against Zebre.
"I was happy with the way I played, but there are always things to work on. I still have to work on my defence. That's where training comes in.
"For me, it's all about playing as well as I can for the Ospreys. It would be nice to be in the Wales squad, but I have to concentrate on my region.
"If I play well there, hopefully I'll be called up."
