GUINNESS PRO12 Star: Finn Russell

It was last season where Russell burst on the Glasgow Warriors scene, showing that he was more than capable of filling in the sizeable boots left by Ruaridh Jackson, the youngster winning his battle against Duncan Weir for the fly-half berth.

And it is no surprise that the 22-year-old has flourished in the role, with former Scotland and British & Irish Lions fly-half Gregor Townsend now his head coach.

It was Russell's accurate kicking that ensured Glasgow were never too far off the pace as they lost last season's GUINNESS PRO12 final to Leinster.

But despite missing chunks of this campaign due to international commitments, Russell proves to be just as important to the Warriors as Townsend's men eye up a repeat showpiece outing as they sit pretty atop the table with four rounds remaining.
