Speaking ahead of the PRO12 clash Head Coach Wayne Pivac said: "We're certainly focused on the win and to win at all costs.
"We're asking the guys to make sure their routines are the same both home and away. There certainly shouldn't be any lack of energy or motivation this week.
"There really are no excuses for us not to perform."
With Zebre only four points adrift of fellow Italian side Benetton Treviso in the hunt for European Rugby Champions Cup qualification they will be just as fired up as the Scarlets to secure victory. Pivac went on to say: "The Italian teams are a different beast home and away. They pick their games; home games are ones they want to do well in. They've won a few at home this year.
"Both teams have a lot to play for - that makes them a dangerous beast. Their motivation will be no different to ours."
Connacht welcome Ulster to the Sportsground whilst Edinburgh welcome Munster to BT Murrayfield but the Scarlets are fully focused on their own result as all three battle it out for the coveted sixth spot, Pivac said; "Our real focus is our result; we are truly focused on that. Once we get our game over clearly we'll be looking at those other results with keen interest.
"Results have gone our way in previous weeks and hopefully that will continue. The facts are we need to get this result on Saturday."
