A record-breaking crowd will get behind the four regions at the Millennium Stadium today as Judgement Day III adds to the drama of Scarlets' top-six campaign.
Packing down for the Scarlets at second row will be Wales lock Jake Ball and he believes today is a fantastic opportunity for players.
"It's a great opportunity. Any chance to step on the Millennium Stadium pitch you cherish - you never know when it'll be your last time," he said.
"It's also a big opportunity for us to put our hands up in front of a different set of fans."
In terms of Scarlets' race for the top six Ball believes consistency will play a part in the end goal.
He said: "We've shown glimpses of us playing good rugby and then we've taken our foot off the pedal. I'd love to see us playing 80 minutes with the foot on the pedal.
"In my first year here we got into the semi final and it was a great experience - we'd like to get back to there again.
"Three wins puts us in a reasonable position but bonus points play big part as well."
Speaking about the Scarlets' opposition Ball added: "A lot of credit to them, they've been impressive in a few of their games this year. We have a lot of respect for the Dragons. We have to compete in the line-out, that's a big thing for me.
"I think they'll be fired up for it. Derbies are always big games."
