And the players themselves took a break from their GUINNESS PRO12 title assault to meet the youngsters, sign autographs and stop for a few photos.
Elsewhere, the club's 'Game On' programme has received a boost following the news that G4S has extended its commitment with Scottish Rugby as their official stewarding partner.
'Game On' is funded by rugby charity Wooden Spoon and Supported by Scottish Rugby to help young people aged 16-19, develop life and employability skills through various workshops and the values of rugby.
With the inclusion of G4S young people involved with the programme will have the opportunity to attend mock job interviews, gain experience in completing application forms and CV writing workshops.
Dominic McKay, Scottish Rugby's director of commercial operations, public affairs and communications, said: "It is especially pleasing they will be getting involved in our 'Game On' rugby project, as there are some clear synergies for both G4S and the young people themselves to benefit from."
