Vice-captain Scott Williams is joined in the centre by Hadleigh Parkes as Regan King misses out due to concussion. Harry Robinson and Steff Evans join Liam Williams in the back three with Aled Davies partnering Rhys Priestland at halfback in what is likely to be his last home game as a Scarlet.
The pack remains unchanged from the one that started against Newport Gwent Dragons at the Millennium Stadium a fortnight ago.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's Guinness PRO12 clash Head Coach Wayne Pivac said: "The game isn't one that we've taken lightly. The first thing that springs to mind from that defeat to the Blues [before Christmas] is they got the upper hand on us in particular the forwards - they got on top of us. They put us under a lot of early pressure, scored a lot of points early on and we struggled to get back in the game.
"There's no doubting that we need a big performance. It's a derby first and foremost, and as I mentioned our last home game. We didn't perform that well in our last outing, which was disappointing. There are a couple of contributing factors that will certainly give the boys a lot of motivation.
"We want to go out there and have a really good performance to make sure it's just the one poor performance here. We have to secure the result first and foremost and if we're lucky enough to get five points then all the better."
