Sonny Bill Williams and Sam Cane scored two tries apiece, while Ben Smith, Hosea Gear, Liam Messam, Israel Dagg and Adam Thomson also crossed.
And O'Driscoll admitted that the Irish had never really recovered from a nightmare start which saw them concede three tries in the first quarter.
He said: "That scoreline is a bit embarrassing. They were very, very clinical at the breakdown and we were terrible. That combination resulted in 60 points.
"We knew that we had to start well and we didn't and that's what the All Blacks do - when they get a 15 or 20-point lead they just play their own game and you're running after them for 80 minutes.
"We started well last week and that was the impetus we needed. We started terribly this week and they really came at us. To be 21 points down before 20 minutes was up, we were going to be chasing the game and we just made too many errors."
O'Driscoll's Leinster teammate Rob Kearney, who was sin-binned at the end of the first half for an intentional knock on added: "They all offload in the tackle and that is the strength of their game.
"I think that was our biggest weakness, as a team, that we didn't stop their offloads. We know that against New Zealand you have to stop the offloads. We didn't do it tonight and they got a lot of tries from it."
