There are several further injury concerns for the Leinster management arising from Saturday's defeat away to the Scarlets with Isaac Boss and Dominic Ryan in doubt for the visit of the Newport based side this weekend.
Ireland scrum-half Boss sat out training on Monday after hyper-extending his elbow during the first half in Llanelli and he will continue to be monitored by the medical team ahead of Friday's midday team announcement.
Ryan, meanwhile, rolled over his right ankle and underwent a scan this morning with results not yet available.
Hookers Richardt Strauss (stinger) and Aaron Dundon (cut above his left eye which required stitches) and wing Fionn Carr (nose) also suffered knocks but the management remain hopeful that all three will be available.
Leo Cullen and Quinn Roux are set to be added to the panel in a match which saw another lock, Tom Denton, make his senior bow for the province. Ian Madigan also became the latest player to pass the half century mark. It is anticipated that the international contingent will be available for selection over rounds three and four of the PRO12.
Ticket sales for Saturday's game have passed the 13,400 mark and are on sale from www.leinsterrugby.ie, the Leinster Rugby Store (Donnybrook), Spar (Donnybrook) as well as Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
Meanwhile, ticket sales for Leinster's clash with Munster in the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, 6th October have now passed the 22,000 mark. Tickets for this and all Leinster games are also on sale from www.leinsterrugby.ie
