Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, said: "We are proud to sponsor Edinburgh Rugby and, once again, the synergy created between our design team and club management has allowed us to combine the tradition of Edinburgh with the innovation of Macron in a single product. We are confident of having created a range of products that all supporters will appreciate."
Supporters will be able to watch the kit - and squad - in action later this week as Edinburgh take on Romania at the Greenyards in Melrose (Friday 21 August k/o 6.30pm) and Ulster at Goldenacre, home of Heriots RC (Friday 28 August k/o 6.30pm), with both home and away strips on show, respectively.
Edinburgh Rugby centurion back row Roddy Grant said: "I'm really pleased with the new design of the jersey. We all think it looks great and is the perfect design for the black'n'red army of Edinburgh.
"As always, the Macron products are made with performance in mind so we feel confident wearing it."
