After grabbing a try and leading by example in both defence and attack, play was stopped after 65 minutes when Saili sustained a head injury.
After a 20-minute stoppage in play while he received treatment, the outside centre was taken off on a stretcher and to hospital, leaving Foley unsure of his condition.
"It looks more like a concussion at the moment but obviously the medics need to examine everything," he said after the match.
"They couldn't examine everything on the pitch, so he's gone to hospital and hopefully we get good news on that."
Andrew Conway scored Munster's other two tries, while Bill Johnston added two conversions and Ian Keatley one for the hosts.
Munster will now turn their attentions to Benetton Treviso, their opponents in next weekend's GUINNESS PRO12 opener at Irish Independent Park.
