The association is the brainchild of Giancarlo Volpato, a quadriplegic ex-rugby player who suffered a serious injury during a game, and aims to collect funds for stem cell research and medical equipment, as well as raining awareness.
After a touch rugby tournament designed in the format of the Rugby World Cup, the event concluded with dinner, music and guests, including some of Treviso's much-loved rugby stars.
