The competition, now in its seventh year, was set up to provide meaningful competition for club teams at the Under 15 and 16 age grades which helps them retain players at an age where studies have found they tend to leave the game.
The competition also means clubs get to enjoy cross-district border competition against teams that they wouldn't normally encounter with sides from Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea going head-to-head.
The club representatives were welcomed to the Liberty Stadium and had presentations from the Ospreys on ticketing offers and the BLK kit initiative, as well as a presentation from the WRU about their new staff structure within the region.
Ospreys players Ben John and Jon Fox, who played in the Ospreys Cup during their youth rugby careers for Loughor and Morriston respectively, were also on hand for a Q&A session.
