Fully recovered after leaving the field following a head injury assessment last Friday, Chris Dean keeps the number 13 jersey with Sam Beard again at inside centre.
Meanwhile the half-back pairing sees Phil Burleigh remain at stand-off, this time partnered by Sean Kennedy, the scrum half moving up from the bench.
Rory Sutherland, Neil Cochrane and John Andress again start at loosehead, hooker and tighthead respectively while Cornell Du Preez at blindside, captain Roddy Grant at openside and no 8 Nasi Manu again form the back row.
The remaining change comes in the second row with Fraser McKenzie moving up from the bench in place of Anton Bresler - currently recovering from a shoulder knock sustained last Friday - to partner Ben Toolis.
McKenzie's move sees Alex Toolis coming on to the bench, setting up the potential for Treviso to see double in the second row, should he come on to partner his twin.
Defence coach Peter Wilkins said: "It was really important to get off to a winning start and the boys will take a lot of confidence from that into this week's game.
"Like all Italian teams Treviso will front up physically and look to generate momentum, coming at us very direct to start with."
With two pre-season wins - against Romania and Ulster - prior to last Friday's defeat of Leinster, Edinburgh are looking maintain the momentum come Saturday.
The club last kicked off the season with back-to-back league victories in 2009 and recorded a 29-8 win over the Italians on the last visit to Stadio Monigo, with tries from Hamish Watson, Andries Strauss and a brace from Matt Scott.
Wilkins continued: "Looking at Treviso's opening game against Munster they played with width so they'll look to dominate us and stretch us.
"It's important that we match that physicality and front up with a direct attack but equally be aware that they'll want to play with the ball and get into the space as well."
Saturday's match is being broadcast on Italian channel REI and supporters can follow the action on Twitter.
