And despite having a couple of bonus points to show for their efforts so far Budd is far from satisfied.
Treviso had to wait until December 28 last year before registering their first GUINNESS PRO12 victory of the season and Budd does not want a repeat.
"In attack we must do better, we know that we have a great weapon capable of hurting, but we need to find the continuity that right now we do," the 29-year-old told the Benetton Treviso website.
"We are happy with the work done in the fray. Coach (Manuel) Ferrari expects a lot from us, demands that training be conducted with seriousness and precision, game situations are repeated until it is satisfied.
"To date, the mixture may be considered one of our strengths. We are doing well on defence, but there is still much work to do to reach the level we desire.
"Psychologically we managed the two defeats well, so that should serve as an incentive to do better."
