The victory over the side they lost to in the 2014/15 GUINNESS PRO12 final means Munster remain unbeaten this season after three wins from three.
But Foley acknowledged: "There could be little complaint had we lost. We were very fortunate to get out with a win.
"The number of mistakes we made was frustrating, things like throwing two line-outs long and missing touch from penalty kicks.
"It was very sloppy and very frustrating and those errors, I can assure you, will focus minds when we get together again."
It was something the players were well aware of immediately, with No.8 CJ Stander admitting after the final whistle that "it is going to be very interesting [at training] on Monday".
Foley was also concerned to see full-back Felix Jones go off with a neck problem just after half-time, with the 28-year-old ruled out for a year back in 2010 following a serious neck injury.
The Munster head coach said: "Felix took a bang on the neck, I think. He was taken off for a head injury assessment.
"He didn't come back out, but I was told he wasn't kept back because of concussion. It was more a bang through the neck.
"Obviously, Felix has a history there, so we will be looking after that first and foremost. Other than that I don't really have any other information [on the injury]."
