Jones's team have also started the new campaign conservatively too, but he believes an expansive approach at Scotstoun Stadium can see them register a second victory.
"We need to put a bit of positivity in our game," Jones told the South Wales Argus.
"We went to Leinster with a defensive mindset and didn't put any momentum into the game.
"Our number of unforced errors was too high and we lost our way, but Glasgow is a very positive place to go, they like to play a lot of football and it's going to be a fast, open game.
"The challenge is that we have to score a minimum of 25 points to win up there. You are not going to win anything with turnover ratios of 40 to 50 per cent.
"What we are going through is typical of a new team in the early stages of the season when everybody's error count is too high.
"To be a successful side you need to only have 30 per cent or less turnover ratio and we are hitting 40 to 50. That is crucifying us and we haven't been able to apply pressure.
"It's down to individuals to take on responsibility and we are hoping for a far more positive attitude to play and take on Glasgow, who do play open rugby themselves."
