As part of the partnership they will visit the Lakers and, amongst other things, take TAG rugby training sessions and volunteer in the Brady Centre on a regular basis.
Lakers Social & Recreational Club is a community-based sports, social and recreation club for children and adults with an intellectual disability.
The club provides a wide range of sporting and educational services to members across Leinster from its centre in Bray, Co. Wicklow.
At the unveiling were players from the Leinster Rugby Academy as well as Leinster Rugby backs coach, Girvan Dempsey.
"This is a brilliant initiative," said Dempsey. "Our link with Bray Lakers has been built up over a number of years. The Academy players really enjoy helping out in the Brady Centre in Bray and all the staff and members of Lakers are so welcoming.
"For us, being able to get out and about volunteering in the local community is of huge benefit to the Academy players. For them to be able to see at first hand the impact that they can have on the Lakers members is wonderful to see.
"They have built relationships during their time here and there are quite a few of the Senior Leinster players that still visit as a result of their time in the Academy.
"We are delighted to have been asked here this evening to open the newly renovated Brady Centre and look forward to visiting here over the coming weeks and months."
