The community team has undertaken no less than 11 club coaching visits in the last few weeks with over 1,000 of the region's next generation having an opportunity to meet some of the Scarlets players and learn some key skills at the same time.
Fresh from Rugby World Cup duties, Scarlets captain Ken Owens brought the autumnal visits to a close earlier this week when he headed to Kidwelly RFC as part of a Scarlets trio of hookers, alongside Ryan Elias and Torin Myhill, to lend a helping hand.
Owens, who has had plenty of experience with similar visits, said: "It's really encouraging seeing the children so enthusiastic and excited about rugby in the same way that I was when I was their age.
"We get support week in, week out when we play so it's really rewarding going back out into the community and returning that support."
Scarlets welcome Newport Gwent Dragons to Parc y Scarlets this frightful Friday, kick-off 6pm, as the region looks for a sixth consecutive victory in the 2015-16 GUINNESS PRO12 campaign.
