Enter Luke Burgess. The Australian No.9 brings with him a wealth of experience, boasting 37 caps for the Wallabies - including four as they finished third at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
On top of that, the 32-year-old has featured for the Brumbies, Waratahs, Rebels back home as well as French giants Toulouse.
"I am desperate to play against the elite of Europe once again," said Burgess on his arrival in Parma. "And I know first-hand the passion that exists in Italian Rugby."
After a GUINNESS PRO12 debut against Cardiff Blues last month, he has gone on to feature against Newport Gwent Dragons and Connacht, before helping Zebre to their first victory of the season on Saturday, against Edinburgh.
And if Burgess hits his straps this season, the Italians can expect to make a few more scalps as the campaign goes on.
