His team have well and truly hit the ground running this season - winning their first five league games ahead of tonight's clash with Newport Gwent Dragons.
And Pivac is looking forward to the future with a Scarlets side that he believes will only continue on their upwards curve.
"Having worked with the team for the last 15 months or so, and seeing the progress we've started to make, my intention and ambition has always been to continue my work here and take the team as far as we can," he said.
"People make the place and we have a great coaching mix in Byron, Steve and Ioan and I'm looking forward to working with them over the next couple of seasons and see how far we can take the club.
"We're all rolling our sleeves up and I think that you're seeing that the team is slowly evolving and long may it continue; there are exciting times ahead."
