The Leinstermen recorded the largest away victory in the GUINNESS PRO12 this season by cruising past Treviso 27-3 in round six, meaning they climb into the top four.
Isa Nacewa scored his fourth try of the campaign in that game and that made him the league's joint-top try scorer alongside James Davies of Scarlets, Craig Gilroy of Ulster and Cardiff Blues' Josh Turnbull.
Turnbull will get the opportunity to add to his try tally when the Blues host the reigning champion Glasgow Warriors on Saturday.
But the stats suggest it could be a battle of the kickers at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park as Warriors' Rory Clegg is the league's most accurate man from the tee - with a 80.95 per cent success rate - while Cardiff's Rhys Patchell has accumulated more points, 70, than anyone else so far this term.
Close behind Patchell is Ian Keatley with 62 points and the Munster fly-half will join his side at BT Murrayfield to take on Edinburgh this Saturday.
Edinburgh have beaten Munster just once in their last seven GUINNESS PRO12 clashes and the Munstermen also top the Specsavers Fairplay League this term as they are yet to receive a card.
Patchell and Keatley's proclivity for points has helped contribute to one of the most exciting starts to a PRO12 season in memory and the average of 4.5 tries per match is the most-ever at this stage since the tournament went home and away.
But there are few runaway victories with an average winning margin of 10.78 points per game, the closest it has been for a decade.
Newport Gwent Dragons' game with Ulster on Sunday could be another close encounter with the Dragons winning by just four points the last time the two teams met back in March.
Elsewhere, Zebre will be full of confidence heading to Ospreys on Saturday after securing their first-ever five-point haul in a 26-15 win over Cardiff Blues on Halloween.
That was a second consecutive win for the Italians and victory at the Liberty Stadium would see them make it three in a row for the first time in GUINNESS PRO12 history.
And Treviso will go in search of their first league victory in 14 attempts as they visit Connacht underneath the Friday night lights at the Sportsground.
But the Galway-based side won't make it easy for their Italian opponents as their only defeat this term came by a solitary point at Glasgow in round 2.
