As Cardiff Blues bid to bounce straight back, they at least know that they will be in more familiar surroundings as they welcome defending champions Glasgow Warriors to BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park for their first GUINNESS PRO12 home match since round one.
And head coach Wilson believes his troops are champing at the bit to set the record straight after watching them in training.
"We have dealt with it (the defeat) in house; Monday was a brutal meeting of the performance," Wilson told the official club website.
"We have now drawn a line under it and the camp is upbeat, the players have come in and delivered some really good training sessions and I have been pleased with the response from them.
"The long-term project, as I have said on record a number of times, is to fix those kind of performances and we will get to that position. We will, though, take some pain along the way.
"We have talked about making long terms changes here and what is important to achieve that is that we front up and are accountable for our performances.
"Up until this point our performances have been admirable. As a group of players, I felt they put together some good stuff in tough venues away from home. But last weekend wasn't that and we will endeavour to put it right."
