And Baldwin, who made his first return from injury last weekend against the Gunners after being on the sidelines for the best part of two months, insists he and his teammates have it all to do if they are to set the record straight against the Cardiff Blues on Saturday.
"From a personal point of view it was good to be back last week and get out on the pitch with 80 minutes under my belt," he said.
"But in the second half we let them get away with it, especially not getting a bonus point at the end.
"We want to put things right, get out there and prove a point as defending champions because we should be back in those playoff spots."
And teammate and winger Tom Isaacs is hoping that the passion of a Welsh derby can be the catalyst for a return to the sort of form that saw them put together such an impressive run prior to their Scottish humbling.
"Last weekend's result was obviously very disappointing," he added.
"We played the wrong rugby in certain parts of the field so it's important we learn from that and bounce back next weekend.
"Any Welsh derby is going to have an edge to it and especially with a lot of young boys coming through we have got guys fighting for positions and that becomes even more important with the Welsh boys coming back after this weekend.
"It will be an interesting game and hopefully a good one."
