It was the Italian side's 16th successive defeat in the GUINNESS PRO12 and you have to go all the way back to February for their last league victory - a 40-24 humbling of Cardiff Blues.
But the signs are there that things are improving for Zanni's side after Treviso came within a whisker of victory against the league leaders at the weekend, with replacement Steve Shingler's kick bailing the Welsh outfit out at the death.
Indeed five of Treviso's nine defeats this season - and two in the last two weeks - have been by less than one score, and with a European double-header now on the horizon Zanni is adamant his side are doing everything they can to convert near misses into a win.
"We have made mistakes this season, we were not accurate when we had to be," he told La Tribuna de Treviso. "We must be honest with ourselves; the mistakes, inaccuracies are costing us games.
"And some situations we could manage a lot better. I would say that the team has created a lot, but everything has been frustrated by the errors, my own first and foremost.
"We must stand up and work even harder, because obviously what we have done so far is not enough.
"We're working so much, I assure you, but unfortunately this elusive victory does not come and it is a difficult situation for us to accept that.
"Every day, we practice hard trying to support each other. It is important that we raise the level further."
