But they now turn their attentions back to Europe where they are looking for their first win in the Champions Cup following their 26-15 defeat to Northampton Saints in November.
Townsend has named an unchanged side from the team that faced Leinster last week with the only change being Grayson Hart coming in for Ali Price in the replacements.
And Townsend is hoping that his team have learned their lessons from earlier in the season and can get their first European win on the board.
"The Scarlets are doing very well in the PRO12 and will provide tough opposition this weekend," he said.
"They have already beaten us at Scotstoun this season and it's important that we learn from that game, as we look for our first victory in Europe this season.
"We've gone with the same starting XV which would have played last weekend, as those players deserve the opportunity and we're looking forward to seeing James (Malcolm) make his first start for the club."
