They made the semi-finals of this competition last season and have already claimed a bonus point win over Sale Sharks and a losing bonus point in France at Castres.
And Price - who played the full 80 minutes against Munster - is expecting a fearsome front row battle this weekend.
"We are not sure what side they are going to bring but any team that they bring is going to be big up front and we have to step up to the challenge," Price told the South Wales Argus.
"I am still working hard on my scrum and the main objective is to get that nailed down and everything else follows but I've always been good at playing with the ball and I enjoy that.
"Munster was a good performance we want to kick the season on, we have got to build on that now and Pau won't like coming to Rodney Parade."
