The news leaves the Dragons short of back-three options, given that Wales starlets Hallam Amos and Tyler Morgan are targeting a February return at the earliest from shoulder surgery after picking up injuries at the Rugby World Cup.
Ashton Hewitt and Nick Scott will be the obvious choices for Kingsley Jones after the stunning success in Pau, but elsewhere, however, the Dragons head coach is spoilt for choice with several players making their case last weekend.
Jones made seven changes at the Stade du Hameau with the fresh faces in the side firing on all cylinders, and with the festive GUINNESS PRO12 derbies fast approaching the 46-year-old admits he is facing some big dilemmas.
"We've got selection problems - every team needs two first team players and we are getting there," he told the South Wales Argus.
"It's a nice problem to have. We are in a position where we are telling somebody that they are missing out and they will be unlucky."
