Cardiff Blues are expecting their biggest crowd of the season at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park for the GUINNESS PRO12 clash with Scarlets.
And Wilson has urged the club's fans to recreate the noise generated for the match with fellow Welsh side Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade last week, which saw the Blues triumph 21-20 against the hosts.
"The passionate crowd here has impressed me and we just need to keep building that," Wilson told the Cardiff Blues website.
"We want to make this a venue that is difficult to visit and win. We've only lost one in the league this season, to the reigning champions, but it will be tough against Scarlets.
"I'm hoping we will see a packed crowd full of supporters to provide the kind of atmosphere we saw at Dragons.
"In my opinion, the only way you increase bums on seats is to win games of rugby.
"We have won three of our last four games, won our last two home games, and the game we lost was to the last kick of the game out in France.
"Hopefully more people will add to the faithful we have here and it's been great to see the big crowds at the Scarlets and Dragons for regional derby games."
