Reigning GUINNESS PRO12 champions Glasgow remain in with a chance of reaching the last eight after beating the Scarlets home and away during their December double-header.
The Scottish side will now conclude their Pool 3 campaign with their game in hand in Paris, a trip to Franklin's Gardens to play Northampton and another meeting with the French side on home turf.
Glasgow are a solitary point behind second-placed Saints and - despite suffering the disappointment of losing out to local rivals Edinburgh in the 1872 Cup over the festive period - head coach Gregor Townsend insists it is all to play for in their Pool.
Racing will take some stopping, however - they top the pool and the Top 14 thanks to their recent win over Bordeaux Begles but Townsend wants his side to embrace the challenge.
"This is a great time to be a professional rugby player," said the former Scotland international. "It's tough when you lose like we did against Edinburgh and have to go back in the next week and put things right, but our next games are big opportunities for us.
"Both Racing and Northampton away will be incredibly tough fixtures, and then we hope to still be in with a shout when we host Racing 92.
"I believe in this squad of players, this group of players definitely have it in them to do well in Europe and come back from our recent setback in the league."
Munster meanwhile know that they must win in Paris against Stade Francais to have any chance of making the knockout stages.
The two-time European champions lost home and away to Leicester Tigers in December to leave Anthony Foley staring down the barrel of a pool stage exit.
Munster will have to win all of their remaining matches to stand a chance of last-eight qualification, and Foley is hoping to use their GUINNESS PRO12 win over Ulster as a springboard back onto the European stage.
He said: "It's massive to get momentum, it's massive to get confidence and to see the character and commitment our players showed in the shirt. It's now important that we take that on.
"Wins breed confidence and sometimes it's a habit you get into."
Ulster might be ten points behind Saracens in their pool but a trip to Top 14 strugglers Oyonnax could keep them in contention for the knockout rounds. Les Kiss' men have fought their way back into contention with back-to-back victories over four-time European kings Toulouse.
However, a run of four wins in all competitions was ended with a defeat to Munster in the GUINNESS Pro12, but Kiss is confident his side can bounce back.
"We did not over-react when we lost games before and we need to show that same attitude now, to look over things in a pragmatic fashion, grow from this defeat and learn the lessons before we face Oyonnax."
