Wing Amos has not featured at all in the GUINNESS PRO12 this season, while centre Morgan has been limited to just 13 minutes of league action.
But Jones has pencilled in a return date of January 15th for his star pair.
"We are not far away with Hallam and Tyler," he told the South Wales Argus.
"Our medical department and the WRU's are doing a great job and it's up to those guys to tell the coaching staff when they are available.
"We are hoping it's soon and the players are very positive. They have been doing unit sessions with us once a day and that's a good sign for the coaches - when they start taking part in sessions you know they are not far away.
"We are just waiting for the all clear. They have a chance (for Castres) and fingers crossed it is sooner rather than later."
