It was Connacht's first GUINNESS PRO12 win since November and the centre's second start after two months out gave Lam even more reason to cheer.
Ireland kick off their Six Nations campaign against Wales at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday and Lam has reassured Joe Schmidt that Henshaw is ready if called upon.
"Robbie got a quality 80 minutes on the back of last week," Lam told the Irish Independent.
"There's no doubt, we believe he's set to go.
"Joe will be pretty pleased and Robbie will be pleased that he's got that game under his belt.
"For us, we're immensely proud to have five guys in the Irish squad and we'll look forward to when that squad is named next week to see how many Connacht boys are in there."
