Biagi has kept his place but a decision will be taken on the GUINNESS PRO12 lock in the coming days as he too looks to come back from a muscle strain.
"After the medical examinations taken this morning for winger David Odiete, second row George Biagi, and flanker Jacopo Sarto - the latter of whom was missing in France due to a muscular problem - two changes were made ??by the technical staff, led by Jacques Brunel," a statement by Italian Rugby Federation said.
"It will be decided during the week, depending on the evolution of the muscle injury suffered by George Biagi, whether it is possible that he may participate against the Red Rose on Sunday afternoon."
