That was enough to send Leinster up to third in the table, while Zebre remain 11th, but Guidi is hoping the Italians can bounce back against another Irish high-flyer, Connacht, next weekend.
"It was an off night where Leinster dominated us," he said.
"We struggled in the kicking game and with their counter-attacking from their good three-quarters - with that tactic you can't compete.
"It's a unique time in our season: we knew it would be but we have to stick together, which we have done well up to now. We have to analyse the game and ask some questions of ourselves to begin with.
"Next Saturday we will have the chance to put things right against Connacht, who are top of the league.
"We're aware of the gap between the teams at the top but we have what it takes to close that gap. In difficult moments we've always responded well: we need to react immediately and get back on track.
"This evening I saw the same thing as against Cardiff in October: we use that game to pick ourselves up and I'm sure we'll manage it again."
